The desire and search for God takes many people on a lifelong journey through heartache and joy with the ultimate hope that their oscillating trail will one day become a much more peaceful road. However, many find that even though they travel with the main guidebook of Christianity, the Bible, they are still confused because of differing definitions of truth and religion in the world around them.

Amanda Victoria Chance was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 21, 1979. She is the eldest of two children. Her hobbies include making custom jewelry & jewelry boxes, organic baking and salt water fishing. She lives in Norfolk, VA and works as a physician.

In addition to her medical career she is also a freelance writer and photographer. She is a member of the Hampton Roads Writers, James River Writers organization, the International Woman’s Writing Guild, and SPAWN: Small Publishers, Artists and Writers Network.
